Availability calendar (a suggestion)

Thought it might be useful to set up a system to keep track of availability and maintain protocol. You'll find an calendar at the following location (please ignore the word 'rent' - it's the only free service I could find): http://www.rentcalendar.com/en/37466

If you are thinking of booking a holiday, the suggestion is:

1. Check the calendar for availability
2. Contact Mum & Dad to ask if they plan to use the villa on your preferred dates (or just want to keep them free)
   
3. They can tell me to mark the dates as unavailable
4. Book your flights!

Hope you agree this is a sensible option; one that will allow Mum & Dad to keep control of what is bound to become a sought-after home!

Phew, what a trip! (A few photos)

A few photos of the villa and the development. River Palm is now advanced enough to understand how well everything will look. We could also see that the choice of villa was excellent (some minor design issues with neighbouring villas) and the quality of finishing etc will be as high as promised. It seems though we can't take possession until Feb/March 2008. Delivery will be made on a first-come-first-serve basis and there are many people ahead of us. The developers will be delivering on schedule and not allowing 'queue jumps' as suggested earlier. But overall, a very successful trip & we think you'll all be lovin' it! (Oh yes, & apols for the lack of mobile phones nos. - I left the phones behind!).
